I’m Tony D, a retired U.S. Army veteran, singer, and songwriter. My music brings together Southern soul, R&B, country, and melodic trap, connected by my baritone voice and stories drawn from real life.

My foundation as a vocalist grew through choir, All-Region and All-Area performances, and UIL competition. Today, I write about love, fatherhood, heartbreak, resilience, and personal growth. Music is a form of therapy for me—a way to express difficult feelings and turn them into something that might help someone else feel less alone.

I combine original songwriting with AI-assisted production and a custom vocal model developed from my own singing voice. I spend time refining the lyrics, phrasing, and vocal sound so the finished song carries my identity. That care is part of every step, from the first idea to the final listen.

My album project, Built In The Dark, and songs like “Dark Light” and “Not Done Yet” reflect that journey. Through custom songs, I’m bringing that same attention to other people’s stories—the moments, memories, and people they want to keep close.
